Comparison, - often times I find myself comparing myself to other artists (especially now that the one young artist trend is happening) tiring, wishing that I had done more before, and going through bouts of hatred (mostly towards my art and my skill). I failed to realize that I had already achieved a lot, and in my quest for perfection I had failed to recognize my own accomplishments. Anyway, work towards your goals, if it takes forever, if it takes years, at least you’ll be closer to your dreams unlike if you didnt start at all. . In further thoughts, I think the young artist comparison trend is very demeaning to both artists involved, just making people more scared to age than they already are.
