I’m a child of the American public school system, there is no way I could read a 300 page book in a half a season of game of thrones. Or maybe it’s just me who’s a super slow reader

When I was younger I used to cut paper up really small and keep it for luck. I’d do it for hours. Lol reading 5 books a week is a drop in the bucket for my odd fixations.

I mean I get the sentiment when it’s people that say they read 200 books in a year when really they listened to them all at 2.5x speed and maybe absorbed 1/10 of what they listened to.

I could knock out a 300 pg book in a couple days, do two a week for a whole year that’s 104, plus however many audiobooks I listen to 🤷♂️

I read when I have free time then when I don't I am listening to an audiobook. About 9 to 10 books a month is my norm. Also yes I read at work it helps keep people from talking to me.
