@glitterxbabe: Thank you @influenster and @COSRX Official for sending me The 6 Peptide Skin Booster Serum ✨ I’ve been a fan of Korean skincare brands including Cosrx for their innovative skincare products for a few years. This serum claims to even skin tone, hydrate, firm & smooth, minimize pores, regulate sebum, and improve skin texture. I was really excited to try this product after reading all of the ingredients, and there are a lot of them. The 6 key ingredients are all peptides that have different effects on the skin. As a licensed esthetician and nerd for cosmetic chemistry I love to do my research and learn about them so that I can help to educate others! To sum up what research supports each of these ingredients do, they reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, soothe the skin, support collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans, increase skin firmness, and decrease tyrosinase activity and melanin synthesis (good for hyperpigmentation & melasma). The 2 ingredients that I personally would prefer were excluded are Glycine Soja (Soybean Oil) for its potential to clog pores, and Copper Tripeptide-1 for its potential to stimulate hair growth. Overall this is a great product for the price and the size of the bottle. I will continue to use the entire thing, as long as it doesn’t seem to cause any breakouts and will shop Cosrx in the future.
