@simon.doherty: After last year's confusion, it’s welcome to see that the UK government is now licensing 'back of house' * checking at festivals. This move supports vital services, enables research, and provides crucial alerts to festival-goers. However, if the government were serious about reducing risks for young people, they should also license and mandate 'front of house' drug checking at all major events and city centres. This would enable people to have their * checked and get results with tailored harm reduction information. #festivals #festivalnotiktok #festivalseason #harmreduction
What a pointless means of harm reduction, they want to wait for people to die before doing anything about it 👍

How did they even manage to do front of house before? How big were the queues?

shame that. at least it ain't the shambles we had last year. think The Loop in Bristol do front of house testing couple times a month if people want stuff tested before they go to festivals 👍

Crazy. Was listening to ppm from The Loop today… and saying ‘dodgy batch’ is often not the case and is more down to uneducated consumption.

So what you’re saying is they’ve offered a service that only, what, 15% will use? if that? Pointless. Should be both F and B of house.
