You’re leaving out half the story. Yeah, Madonna benefited from ballroom, but she didn’t just take and run. She hired actual ballroom dancers, paid them, put them on world tours, and gave them exposure they never would’ve had in the mainstream at the time. She donated to HIV/AIDS causes when most celebrities were terrified to even say the word. She used her platform to support the LGBTQ community long before it was “safe” or profitable.

oh please, cultural appropriation? madonna is an artist, she wore costumes, got hairstyles, and got inspiration from other countries NOT for “cultural appropriation”, but to celebrate the cultures of these countries. she didn’t “steal” anything, this video makes no sense.
