@ampollo: #stitch @Flora 🌸 if you’re a beginner runner 🏃‍♀️👀 here’s what I’d spend vs save on!⁣ ⁣ This my somewhat qualified advice as someone who’s run on and off but finally got consistent and ran a half marathon this year 😆 ⁣ ⁣ RUNNING SUNGLASSES ❌⁣ I wear $10 Amazon sunglasses. They have UV protection and have only fogged up a few times while running.⁣ ⁣ EARBUDS ✅⁣ If music gets you through, invest in a pair that won’t fall out or break on you.⁣ ⁣ RUNNING VEST ⚖️⁣ It depends. If carrying your things makes you less anxious about running, do it.⁣ ⁣ RUNNING WATCH ❌⁣ If you’re just starting, use a free app like Strava to track your routes and distances. THEN if you decide you like running, invest in a watch so you get access to metrics like heart rate, cadence, etc.⁣ ⁣ RUNNING OUTFIT ⚖️⁣ Invest in key pieces. The further you run, the more important performance clothing becomes for chafing, sweat wicking, etc.⁣ ⁣ RUNNING SOCKS ❌⁣ Idk. Unless you’re running super far $30 for a pair of socks is tough to justify.⁣ ⁣ RUNNING SHOES ✅⁣ Invest!!! Go to a running store, try a few brands of running shoes, and see what feels good for you.⁣ ⁣ I hope this helps!
