Just went there yesterday! So beautiful! But am wondering if you heard all the loud buzzing noises??? Idk if they are cricket noises or something. But sounded like they were in the millions. Would like to know what they actually were.

my dear I wonder if there is a navel base or war museum. my step father s dad was a Military man and charged a fleet of submarines in WW2. the fleet was sent to Australia three or four years before war broke out and as a result my step father was born to an Island woman. I'm now a grand mother and have grand children but the story is all we have to tell the kids. This islands name I believe he left a little of his culture as well. 🌹
