Pool Balance :
For Eidrian — if you have no backwash port, run the filter to waste by removing the filter cartridge, do a partial drain after the algae dies (25% water swap), then replace with fresh. For the cartridge itself, remove and hose it off every 12 hrs during treatment. Also: key step everyone skips — get pH to 7.2 and alkalinity 80-120 BEFORE shocking. Low pH = chlorine actually works. High pH = wasted money.

I wish there were more vinyl and fiberglass pools in North Texas. Mostly Gunite here. The rough surface makes it a little harder
