The media, talk shows, news reporters and the general public, made fun & humiliated Erik & Lyle. not only that many skits and movies were made about them just to make fun of their story and to belittle them. It truly upsets me and it’s definitely because they were males, who were s*xually ab*sed by their parents. now before you come at me we need to take into consideration. This was in the 90s where men’s and boys ab*se was seen as taboo and not really spoken of or acknowledged. The brothers had mountains of evidence to prove that they were being ab*sed, and the courts didn’t take into consideration and try to dismiss it, especially the prosecution. The prosecution was extremely biased and homophobic, especially towards Erik Menendez. Prosecution try to argue that if Erik was being r*ped at 18 years old by his father, then he must’ve enjoyed and liked it… What a messed up thing to say! not only that prosecutor Pamela Bozanich said “men cannot be r*ped as they lack the necessary equipment to actually be r*ped” you can find that in their trials as this was recorded on live television, I cannot imagine how the men must’ve felt watching that vulgar thing came out of her mouth. The Menendez Brothers were treated so disgustingly and there was no justice at all in this case. I hope that new evidence brings light to their case and hope for freedom.
