my dog has great concept of time - any time it’s time for his dinner/walk, he’d ‘talk’ to us to remind us it’s time. Any time i’m busy i’d say “come back in (whatever) mins” and without fail (1)

I’m physically disabled. Once had a cat who knew he wasn’t allowed to be in the bedroom by himself, and would hide on the far side of the bed where he knew I could see him but not reach him to get him out of the bedroom. Once when he was doing this, I looked him in the eye and said, “if you come out of the bedroom with me, I’ll give you a whole piece of ham when I make our sandwiches later.” The cat looked at me, then at the door…then walked out calmly. Yes I gave him his ham later. His name was Zigacious Amadeus or Ziggy for short. Orange boi.

My dad has diabetes but also an addiction to hershey bars, if he eats too much of his hershey bar our dog will tell on him. She'll also bark if his sugar spikes at night, we love her very much

Oddities :
one of my dogs once stole a brand new jar of Nutella from the pantry, unscrewed the lid, and ate the whole thing. he's fine, somehow. but he is the only intelligent one out of the three.
