@japantrip55: Experience the vibrant "𝐀𝐢𝐳𝐮-𝐓𝐚𝐣𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐆𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥", celebrated annually on July 22nd, 23rd, and 24th in Minamiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture. Legend has it that the origins of the Aizu-Tajima Gion Festival trace back to the Bun'ichi era (1185-1189) of the Kamakura period. Naganuma Munemasa, the area's esteemed lord, honored the Gion faith by initiating the festival at Tadeuga Shrine. Fast forward to 1603 (Keicho 8) in the Edo period, where he fashioned a ceremony akin to Kyoto's Yasaka Shrine Gion Festival, thus laying the foundation for the celebrated Aizu-Tajima Gion Festival we know today. Join the festivities at Tadeuga Shrine and Kumano Shrine, where traditional floats and bustling outdoor stalls create an unforgettable atmosphere. Discover why it's one of Japan's top three Gion festivals! The 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 is a sight to behold. It starts around 7:00 in the morning. #foryoupage❤️❤️ #osaka #tokyo #japantravelguide #japantravel #foryou #japantiktok #japanculture #kyoto #japanlife #japanlife #japantrip #japanese #japan #japaneseculture
