I can see why standing on the bike would get more fuel in but your caps off to the side of your tank wouldn't you get more fuel in if that was at its highest point

Think you know why you hesitated there! your instructors tank probably had the cap in the centre. yours is offset to the right, so leaning left would mean you get more in.

Your bike has the fuel off set to the side so you can get off the bike and get a full tank. If it was central then your method is good but you would get more in if it was on the stand. Nice bike!
