next time flip the manifold upside down place the opening of the grids in place. 7 large grids and one half size. slid the bottom and the rod from the top to the manifold. then tighten the nut. flip

Mix up the DE in a 5 gallon bucket of water and pour in your skimmer. By pouring in the way you are doing. It could clump up on the filter grids and you will be yelling FTH!

Same pool filter, this hits my core! I didn’t have to do this with my sand filter on my last pool! Just wait until the fiberglass cap on the filter gives you splinters!
