Maybe lower your expectations to a townhouse maybe where you pay around 400k 5% of that with the government guarantor grant you only need about 22,000 saved plus whatever stamp duty is

I work full time, have a second job, uni to upskill love hecs indexing 😭two kids and still just scraping by to pay my mortgage. So I still count myself lucky… I guess 😭😭😭🫠🫠

Getting a house and then having to pay $1000+ a week in mortgage repayments just isn’t worth it. Things will level out, put your time and money into something else at the moment!

I just want to be able to afford to live, a house is so far in future for me. Just want to travel and do fun things focus on hobbies with out being guilty of spending money if I have any after bills
