@cookingwithcocktailrings: I JUST PAID RENT EPISODE 2: Pastina! This rich and creamy Italian comfort food is made with a few simple ingredients and comes together in under 10 minutes. Also called “Italian penicillin”, it’s a favorite sick day cure (bonus points if it’s made with homemade chicken stock).  INGREDIENTS: ⭐️2 cups chicken stock ⭐️1 cup pastina pasta (6 ounces) ⭐️2 tablespoons unsalted butter ⭐️1 egg beaten ⭐️½ cup packed freshly grated Parmesan cheese (or ⅓ cup store-bought grated Parmesan), plus additional for serving ⭐️Kosher salt, as needed ⭐️¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper INSTRUCTIONS 1. Bring the chicken stock to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the pastina and cook until the pasta is al dente and most of the stock has been absorbed, about 4 to 5 minutes. 2. Remove the pot from heat and quickly stir in the butter, egg and cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 3. Serve warm in bowls topped with additional freshly grated Parmesan cheese. I cannot find pastina in my area. Couscous is a nice substitute.

How do you get your egg to do that though because I do it and it just turns into little pieces of scrambled egg in there
