@run_frankie_run: My 10th overall Marathon ✅ 🫶🏽 and another state crossed off my goal list. This has been one of the most memorable experiences at a race I have had in a long time..hands down top tier from beginning to the end. The course was flat for the most part , but this week there was a flood by the river so the course changed and to my surprise..the hills were out 😂🙄. However, I managed to kick it in high gear and make it happened. For the most part , I stayed with the pace group for the first 15 miles , but I just knew I was going way too fast and wouldn’t be able to manage it for the second half so I scaled back my pace. The struggle was real , but glad I met @kendra.karch for the first time on the course and we pushed it through the finish line . Highlight was to run back to the finish line to see my partner Jay get his P.R. For his 2nd Marathon. I am just so proud he did it and this is only the beginning. This is coming from him telling me that he would never run a marathon again after the first one in 2022 😂, to doing his second one hitting his goal. Lastly, I have to give a major shoutout to our wonderful friends @meghan_solo63 & @jasonnufio who lives in Fargo and provided us with the utmost hospitality I have ever seen. I do not think we would’ve had this much fun if it wasn’t for you two. We cannot thank you both enough for all the love, joy, and excitement .
