@plantswithkrystal: Too much light can be bad ⬇️: If you are an indoor houseplant grower, your plant is used to light from behind a window, shade, curtains, etc. so if you’re planing on bringing them outside for the warmer months keep those babies in the shade. Whether it be with a shade cloth or under a covered porch, keeping in shade will allow your plants to still grow nice and lush without the risk of leaf burn. If you do want to increase light (I bring my cactus to direct sunlight gradually in the spring and summer), do it a few at a time. I start in shade for a few weeks and then work its tolerance up to full sun a little at a time. Unfortunately there’s nothing you can do once your leaves burn and get scorched so please take that into consideration before you decide to bring your plant baby out. And remember, those plants living outside will dry out faster due to increase in light and airflow, so you’ll be watering more often! My tiny umbrella has a suction cup is used as an outdoor phone sun blocker but it was too cute to not use for my plants. #houseplants #plantcare
