@eva.koper: Bagels will always be my favorite lunch 🤌🏼🥯 recipe: 375 ml warm water 15 g of active dry yeast 4 tbsp honey (or agave syrup) (+ 4 tbsp more for boiling) 625 g all purpose flour 2 tsp salt Method: 1. In a bowl, mix together warm water, yeast and 1 tbsp of honey and let sit for 15 minutes covered with a warm paper towel. 2. In a separate bowl mix the flour, the rest of the honey and salt. Add the the yeast mixture and stir with a spatula till it's one piece. 3. Flour the surface and knead for 10 minutes until it forms a smooth dough. If the dough sticks to your hands, cover your hands with flour. Cover the bowl with flour and add the dough back in. Let it rest for 60 minutes until doubled in size. 3. Seperate into 12 pieces. Fold the pieces into balls. Press your finger into the center of each ball to create an opening and form your bagels. Place them on parchment paper, cover with a kitchen towel and let them rest for 30 minutes. 4. Add 4 tbsp of honey or sugar to your boiling water. Place the bagel in the boiling water for 1 minute each side. 5. Spread egg wash on top of the bagel and sprinkle them with bagel seasoning or sesame seeds. 6. Bake for 20-25 minutes on 180C. #bagels #breadmaking #lunch #lunchrecipe
