@staugalligatorfarmzoo: If you’re at the zoo and searching for a giant crocodile, he might be hiding in the pool in a shift/nesting area. 🐊 Maximo had to be shifted out of the normal habitat for maintenance (because he is a huge ~16 foot Saltwater crocodile!), but Sydney is in there because she’s guarding her nest. Crocodiles are masters of the ambush and know how to hide in shallow water well. So next time you’re at the Zoo, and can’t find Maximo is the big pool, then look again through the small portholes, because he could be hiding. 🐊 Sydney is a protective crocodile mother, as are many of other mother crocodiles around the zoo.
