my players are in a whale punk pirate world where the level of technology is kind of ambiguous depending on what fits the moment. gave them the countdown puzzle and it freaked them out 🟢

So you don't overuse Arcane Ritual, make sure you have that party member roll an arcana check first.

I’m almost 40 I never in my life heard a player complain about why he need to put a gem in a statue or wondered how a puzzle actually works 🤷🏼♂️
