We had a girl pass our senior year, our school did everything for her. I don’t understand why a school would decide to keep this from them. It meant so much to us!

As someone who had a classmate pass senior year from cancer, this is everything. We saved him a seat, but faculty wouldn’t let anyone walk for him. All he wanted was to make it to graduation.

I had a friend passed away when we were in ninth grade. At our graduation a seat was saved for him. All the girls were given white carnations to place on his seat. These were then given to his mom

My daughter had a friend pass away in 2nd grade and at 5th grade promotion, he had a seat, balloon, and certificate. The parents made a speech and everyone was crying.

my cousin did the same thing for her friend who would have graduated with them but she died of cancer when she was just a kid the school didn't want to do anything so they did in honor of her

a girl I graduated with passed away while we were in school our senior year. they put a seat out to the side in her memory with her picture and a rose in the seat. I wish more schools still did this
