As a day surgery nurse who does pre/post op. They’ll even have us bring patients down, get them prepped, and THEN cancel them. Pisses me off so bad.

Hell yes!!! They are doing this now with anyone with a facial droop — for anything until the speech therapist sees them. It's horrible. Sometimes that's two days.

It is truly systemic issue cuz it could be anesthesia that cancels the procedure (OP) after whole day of NPO and bowel prep for endoscopy procedure. Sometimes we had emergency so less priority-
