How to create a versatile* money piece👇👇👇 I’m often asked how to approach a money piece that accommodates multiple partings. This is ideal for the client that likes to switch it up… down the middle and side the side. I start by working with a center part straight down the middle. This ensures that it looks good when worn down the middle but also to create balance. I then focus on creating back to back foils on each side of the part. Keeping in mind to work from the center part out to the parietal ridge on each side. This allows the money piece to showcase its self when switched to a side part on either side. I typically place 4-5 back to back foils each side on each side of the center part. Make sure to start by following the clients natural hair line. Tip: Minimal teasing and weaving in these sections for maximum impact and brightness. Tip: These section are significantly thinner than the rest of the head. This is to focus on details and brightness. Tip: No root tap for max impact. Root tap for softer grow out. Root Melt for more drama from dark to light.
