@holliejadestudios: When you only have a few minutes or hours to dedicate to painting. The less colour mixing and decisions you have to make the more efficient (and relaxing) painting will be. I’m learning how decision fatigue is real! And I get it BAD. With my swatches I can see my colour palette works without having to pull ALL of my paints out. I then usually pick out 4 colours from the swatches. 🌈And then ! And this is the best part REMOVE all other paints and colours from around you and limit I’m yourself to your original choice. Doing this allows me to concentrate on my mark making and spend more time painting! 🌸Honestly if you paint do yourself a favour and swatch out your paints.
