The Free Market is Going to Free Market Don't be mad at me for breaking down this very real business and economic principle. Mob rule, demanding more wages and a vast quantity of union related wins will end up being temporary. Unfortunately, these workers are likely negotiating against themselves as a business will have no choice but to find other ways to balance the increased costs that weren't set by market conditions, but by decree or by demand. In the end, salaried positions, healthcare and benefits will cease to exist and we'll have a nation of subcontractors who successfully negotiated themselves out of their own prosperity. By then, it will likely be too late to chance course and we'll look back on the perks and benefits we used to have. Of course until some bureaucrat finds a way to game the system again and they'll just find another way to accomplish the same goal. I don't make the rules.
