@mywildtribe: After just a day in Hanoi we took the train to the countryside - to a place called Sapa. This was an 8hours overnight train. It departed at 10pm and arrived in Sapa at 6am. I booked the ticket online (Shared cabin for 4 ) beforehand to make sure we will be in the same cabin. Kids 5 under is free. So funny as at exactly 5.10 am, they played Vietnamese song in full blast to wake everyone up - it was quiet an alarm 😆 Having only our backpacks, its been pretty easy moving around with all 4 kids. We’ve been walking a-lot so far and moving from one place to another and there is nothing more freeing than not having to lug heavy luggage around with you. Soo proud of my kids for being little troopers.
