RUN ON FLAT ROUTES: if you are working on your breathing and just overall maintaining a pace try to find flat routes that won’t exert you to quickly!!! 2. CHECK THE HUMIDITY!!! I didn’t realize this was something I needed to check until one run I was so defeated as to why I was struggling so much & then I realized the humidity was at a 90%. Now I revolve my run schedule around the humidity!!!! 3. RUN FOR TIME: If you keep checking how far you have gone every minute, STOP!! Set a timer on your phone for 30 minutes and just stop running when the timer goes off. 4. RUN WITH SOMEONE FASTER: this may be intimidating at first because you feel like you need to keep up. But you’ll run so much faster out of the competitiveness in you!!! 5. POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT: if you catch yourself saying “OMG i I still have 3 miles left”. Try to stop yourself and say “OMG I only have 3 miles left!!” This positive reinforcement will make a huge difference in your mental block while running!!!
