I think it’s bc it’s a lost art to run one and grade with one. I got 2 old timers running 953A series. Both have about 50 years experience.

you should see my buddies grandpa 85 yrs old on a 955L that he bought new dig a basement! He's incredible! hell I've seen him take the rops and muffler off and dig a basement under a church!

They will never compact as good as a compactor. Still a very versatile machine but not good enough for packing pond dams or building pads in my opinion I’ve fixed too much failed tracked in work
