570yen for shinkansen is ok to me... furthermore, time is crucial if u are traveling. 30mins with a savings of 10 to 15mins to the rest for just 100+yen is worth it.

You can also use the Kintetsu Line. The Kintetsu pass is affordable and can be used in Osaka to Nagoya. (Including Nara and Kyoto)
