@locsbyp2: We all love the two strand twist method when starting locs because you get two styles in one. But I’ve realized something with the two strand twist method that may be a con or pro depending on end goal & preference. #1 thing I’ve realized. Two strand causes bunching. I didn’t pay attention to it before. But in this particular set it was obvious . Now this is a preference thing because a lot of the girlies want the textured loc look while others don’t. Depending on your hair texture this may flow or it may not. You may even not care. But for those of you concerned about bunching. It’s something to think about when choosing your install style. I don’t notice it as much with the coils. But I’m not saying it can’t happen. The only way to fix bunching once it happens is to try to pull it straight (risk of ripping) and crochet to repair and straighten as best as possible. I am very much a two strand starter loc girl. I love them for various reasons. I love coils they are the OG and get the job done. When it comes to bunching it can happen on both but two strand are just more likely than coils.
