fats go rancid not flour. however keeping it in the freezer prevents bugs eggs from hatching

I don't like storing flour in that type of plastic, it makes it smell funny. I store in glass and add bay leaves for bugs.

You can always tell when somebody has a scency in their kitchen and doesn’t store their flour well. Or if their house is dirty the flour Kindof absorbs the taste.
