is it common in the US to open food item and eat or drink them before paying? I'm from Sweden and people would never do it there. Same in Thailand where I live now.😅 No hate, just curious 😊

Our local grocery store gives kids one free fruit and I wish everywhere did this! My kids love it & sometimes eat it in the store! ❤️

I see LOTS of parents who allow kids to open/eat food in the store. My daughter never asked/expected, but it’s probably bc she knew I wouldn’t allow that.

in canada (or at least ontario) kids under 12 can get a free piece of fruit while shopping (banana, apple, orange) and it's a blessing

Yeah eating grapes aren’t bad I have had a whole A— family come through my till ate ATE whole family box of croissants then the dad proceeded say oh we forgot too eat breakfast sorry I laughed said it

in sweden, grocery stores usually hand out free bananas to small children to make it easier for the parents usually the ones that start to get a little sad, but great concept

Personally I hand pick the grapes off the vines one by one and put them in a separate bag to only pay for the grapes and not the vines
