I don’t think people understand that we already have to pay a toll to get into every borough and in addition to that there would be other tolls added which isn’t a positive thing

Why do drivers have to pay for the MTA riders? We already pay too much for other tolls. MTA riders need to invest in the transportation that they use. Raise the metro card to $7 a swipe. With millions of transit rider’s paying $7 each way then they can pay for their own transit upgrades and maintenance. Drivers already have tolls, red light cameras, speed cameras, parking meters, parking tickets etc. Drivers are the most taxed in this city. This congestion pricing cancer will spread to other boroughs. Whenever the MTA squanders their budget, the answer is to further tax the drivers. Ugh!🤬
