Exactly!! I train my kids as much as I train my dog. And when they were little they had a gate seperating kids n pets.

when my kids were babies/toddlers and I had labs the frontroom was gated off from dogs while kids were playing on the floor for this very reason. They had time together so they bonded but supervised
