This reminds me of the kid that posted a picture of her mom and the caption said her dad used to fight with her mom over the amount of mugs she owned. But her new husband built her a display case.

my dad and his wife collected rocks from thier trips. they'd place them in a flower bed outside. when he passed, the flower beds were completely full of thier rocks from all the adventures they'd had.

I would just help her put a display case together or something so they’re all in one place instead of telling her not to do this or putting them away when she wants them out.

Find a way to have them displayed in one place. Get shelving she can fit them all on. That way she can still see them all, and they’re in one place. So it doesn’t look cluttered .

She’s a rock hound! I like rocks too. I don’t have them all over the house. In the yard and in a fish tank. Maybe clear glass containers? A display shelf?

I collect the same. I display them too. But DISPLAY them. I have cute containers and shelves. Tall clear containers with lids allows you to see them AND get them out to touch.

I've encountered this Reddit before and I remember one of the comments saying that the gf was actually a geologist or something, and it wasn't just random rocks/bones that she collects.
