I owned a BMW for the past 3 years. The only car I didn’t spend any money on except usual service and MOT. My wife’s Mercedes on the other hand every month something goes wrong.

Just STEER clear of EUROPEAN cars, I'm telling you I've had things like Citroen to VW to Mercs all crrrrraaapppp when it comes to reliability.....

Biggest reason for BMW faults is people who follow BMW service intervals. Service with oil change every 8k.
