Most daycares have a policy that they won’t accept any babies that are sleeping, they need to wake them up for this very reason, this is so sad.

the one I use checks babies kids head to toe for everything on arrival every diaper change and documents everything so do this baby to not be checked right then blows my mind

I have so many questions. We have to do “sleep checks” on sleeping children under 2years. Between 5-10mins, to ensure the child is alive and safely sleeping. Is this not a thing over there?

As a daycare educator we are meant to do a sleep check every 10 minutes…so I’m not sure how long he was asleep for but surely someone checked him…😔
