The vivo X500 Pro Max will be the most advanced model in the new X500 generation, with an official launch scheduled for September 21, 2026 in China. The device will have a premium build and a large circular camera module on the back, with a finish developed in conjunction with ZEISS. Vivo has already confirmed the launch of the X500 family and officially revealed the design of the Pro Max, while dimensions, weight, and complete build details have not yet been released. The front is expected to feature a huge 6.85-inch LTPO OLED panel with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. Recent leaks indicate the use of a BOE Q11 panel, with extremely thin bezels and LTPO technology to dynamically adjust the refresh rate. The screen should also offer HDR, a wide color gamut, and high reproduction accuracy, but official brightness and touch sampling values have not yet been revealed. The processing will be handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, manufactured using a 2-nanometer process, accompanied by up to 16 GB of LPDDR6 RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage. This combination places the X500 Pro Max directly among the highest-performing Android smartphones of this generation, focusing on both sustained performance and artificial intelligence. The configuration most cited in leaks combines 16 GB of RAM with 512 GB of storage, but Vivo has not yet officially confirmed all variants. Battery life will be another major differentiator, with a silicon-carbon battery estimated in the 8,000 mAh range. Some sources specifically point to a capacity of approximately 8,000 mAh, while others indicate 7,500 mAh, so the definitive number still depends on the official announcement. Fast charging should reach 90 W via cable, providing a combination of an extremely large battery and relatively fast charging for a flagship in this category. In the rear camera setup, the main highlight will be a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens, developed to offer a much higher zoom level than the conventional X500 and X500 Pro. The system will have three rear cameras and will be tuned by ZEISS, with the 200 MP sensor being one of the biggest photographic differentiators of the Pro Max. The exact configuration of the main and ultrawide cameras has not yet been fully confirmed, but leaks point to high-resolution sensors and advanced stabilization. Photographic processing should utilize the new generation of vivo's imaging platform, with technologies developed to expand dynamic range, detail, and color reproduction. Vivo itself confirmed for the X500 series features such as dynamic range up to 17 EV, CIPA 7 level stabilization, and 4K recording at up to 240 fps, in addition to advanced artificial intelligence features for photography and video. Integration with ZEISS will continue to be a key element of the Pro Max's camera system. Other expected features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, 5G, high-speed Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB-C, as well as advanced water and dust resistance. The operating system is expected to be OriginOS 6 or a more recent version based on Android 17, depending on the final version presented. The vivo X500 Pro Max will initially launch in China alongside the X500 and X500 Pro on September 21, 2026, and the official price has not yet been released. ———————————————————— . #vivo . #vivox500 . #vivox500promax . #android . #originos7
