@lowcarbstateofmind: SMOKED CHUCK ROAST 🥩🔥 All you need 👇 2-3 lb boneless chuck roast Steak seasoning / rub of choice 1-2 cups of bone broth or beef stock Oil to coat chuck roast Preheat smoker to 225° Coat chuck roast in oil & steak/beef rub of choice Smoke for 3 hours, flipping chuck roast half way Preheat crockpot to high Transfer chuck roast to crock pot with 1-2 cups of broth or stock (just enough to submerge it about half way) Slow cook on high for 3-4 hours , also flipping half way and serve! Notes 📝 ⬇️ The rub I’m using is called : Black & Tan by Fire & Smoke 🔥 I don’t like to “shred” the entire chuck roast, I like to cut it in large chunks then down the center of the inside of each chunk and then shred with a fork so the pieces aren’t as long & stringy. 🔑 I store with some of the liquid so it doesn’t dry out 💦 If you guys try it tag me so I can see 😊 #traeger #smokedmeat #highprotein #chuckroast #dinner #mealprep
Instead of bringing in and soupin’ it up with the broth, hit it with some butter and wrap it in butchers paper at 165 internal. Let it roll til 203 and you will love that.

If you don’t have a smoker, I make my fire on one side of my barbecue pit, and then put the chuck roast on the side without the fire. lid down. Works very well.
