I’ve experienced both death and anesthesia. They are similar in that both are *blink* and it’s over. But coming back from death felt like I’d been somewhere or seen something that I couldn’t remember

I had anesthesia took me 3.5 hrs to wake up. My breaths were 2 to 4 during that time, gasp for air and then do it again. Don’t remember til hr 3. Anything that could be done to prevent next time?
