Meaning behind tattoos: Jimin has 7 permanent tattoos, and every one is about BTS and ARMY. He is not a tattoo guy who likes design. He engraves his memories. Here is the deep meaning; 1.NEVERMIND - Right Ribcage. The oldest and most painful one. a.) First seen, 2014 MAMA stage with Block B. For years fans thought it was fake \painted for performance. 2018-2019 we saw it was still there and confirmed it was permanent. Meaning, it's from Suga's song intro,Nevermind from HYYHPT2.The lyric says ; " Nevermind, it's not easy but engrave it onto your chest." Jimin said this is one of his favorite BTS songs ever because it gave him strength when he felt belittled and insecure as a trainee. So he literally did what Yoongi said, engraved it on his chest. This is about turning pain into strength. 2. 13- Inside of the left wrist. First seen, March 2020 Vlive. Deep meaning, Double meaning. a) His birthday, October 13,1995. b) BTS debut date June 13, 2013. He told the ARMY, 13 is his forever number, his fate number. Funny details. The members roast him because the font looks like a stamp you get at a kids competition 🤣. 3.&4. YOUNG FOREVER -Back of both elbows. YOUNG on the left elbow, FOREVER On right. First seen; Feb 2020 concert with bandages covering them. Fully revealed may 11,2020 Vlive. Meaning, BTS song Young forever (2016). That song is about BTS's fear that fame will fade, that they are running without end. But they promise to stay young forever together with ARMY. Jimin said this era was when he felt BTS and ARMY became truly one . So he puts it where he can always see when he dances. 5. THE 5 MOON PHASES- Back of his neck. This is his most spiritual one. Revealed, 2023 during FACE promo live. Meaning. It is not just a moon. It is the exact Moon phase on June 13 2013, the night BTS debuted, 5 different phases showing the moon's journey. Who inspired him, Taehyung. Jimin said on weverse live, Taehyung showed him a fanart drawing that had this idea , the debut moon. Jimin loved it so much he went and got it tattooed right after. This is why Vmin is a soulmate. Taehyung's gift is forever on his body. 6. 7- Side of left index finger. The friendship tattoo. All 7 members have it. Jimin's location, index finger, inner side. Who inspired it: JIMIN himself inspired the others. Tattoo artist POLYC said: All members wanted a friendship tattoo but Jimin was the one who pushed them and said," let's do it now." He was the catalyst. Why finger; POLYC revealed Jimin said, " When I sing and hold the microphone, I want ARMY to see it." He chose the most visible spot on purpose for us. The design of 7 is special too, it's BTS's bond that can never be replicated. Each 7 is slightly different. 7.YOUTH -Behind his right ear. Small cursive writing. Meaning BTS song Youth, about not losing your innocence and dreams even when you grow up. It is very close to his heart because he was the last to join BTS and was young to carry that dream. JIMIN NEVER GOT A TATTOO FOR FASHION.ALL OF THEM ARE DIARY ENTRIES. IF YOU READ HIS BODY , YOU READ BTS'S WHOLE JOURNEY, DEBUT (13, MOON), STRUGGLE (NEVERMIND), LOVE FOR ARMY (YOUNG FOREVER), AND FOREVER BROTHERHOOD (7). #jimin #foryou #jimintattoo #jiminfavouritetattoo #bts SO WHO REALLY INSPIRED JIMIN? 1. SUGA- For NEVERMIND ( lyric). 2.BTS's own history - For 13, Young forever, 7. 3. TAEHYUNG -directly inspired the moon tattoo. 4.ARMY-He said he put 7 on his finger for US to see.
