There is no strong spice in french food. But you can taste mustard or raifort (= japan wasabi) which are our spices . And if you want spice like you know, try harrissa or indian hot curry.

Most of the time i’ve seen than foreigners like us people don’t tend to try minorities food when they come to France and stick to the « traditional french « terroirs » » and i think it’s kind too bad

It's because Europe has zero resistance to capsaicin, but a very high resistance to AITC. The US is the exact opposite, which is why US mustard taste like bland toothpaste to europeans
