I never worked ER, L&D and NICU nurse so I don’t know what ESI is, but I think the child should be seen first. The UTI could have gone to Urgent Care or Teledoc 😂

3 year old first, he could make it worse with movement and over time will get less patient and hooks are often dirty. Take urine sample from woman while she waits

i’m just a student but 3 for kid, 4 for woman and collect a urine sample while she waits to speed up the process

3 year old is a 3, might need sedation for removal of hook. UTI with no other symptoms can be a 4 run the urine and send her on her merry way

I’d put them both as 4s and bring the kid back first and have the female submit ua from waiting room.
