@thesidingguy_: In the past 4 years, this Boss 10oz titanium hammer has been the hammer that I have used most out of all of my hammers. I swung a 10oz Stiletto hammer for over a decade until their patent ran out and Boss came out with a 10oz hammer. I got it right away. It’s lightweight (which is the main reason I swing a 10oz) and has a good swing to it. I’ve always liked wood handled hammers. This video shows just one of the bonus features of the hammer - it can get you quick square or angle guide (either roof pitch or degrees). This is especially useful when a mark needs to be more than 7” as shown in the video. The hammer gets me that mark once without having to flip the square over. You just have to push the spot at the 2 yellow arrows against the material and you have 90°; the claw acts as the pivot point for the angles. Are these “gimmicks” needed in a hammer?
