It’s not like the hole is damaged. I’m sure if you actually had a bolt hole damaged you would take the time and be safe but for the matter of just cleaning them lots of guys don’t even do that

I’ve worn out taps with an impact, done so many holes no issue that the tap got blunt. Poor darling creaked and groaned so it got replaced
