I think the design and method has potential but I would have used a flat tool to avoid the stripes. This shouldn't cost you 500$ though maybe 50

Finish it with a High Performance Concrete coating and that thing would be awesome. There are some great coatings that mimic Natural Stone, Terrazzo, whatever you want and you can apply over thinset.

I loved where that was heading bro, please try again. Maybe try micro cement and a smaller notch trowel, like a 3mm and build up more coats to hide the texture. Also a steel angle bead for the 90°s

You’re using the wrong trowels. Smaller specialty trowels for micro cement. This sink could have look really good.
