I think some people pretend that black hair is impossible to draw bc our hair is more "alive" than straight hair is. we value our hair a lot, and it can even be a sense of identity for some people

I DONT think people understand how fun it is to draw locs too 😂 like I’m not perfect- I overtexture. But in retrospect they’re also easier to draw then straight hair- like… it’s pretty basic 😂
