You scared of a silk press but bleached your whole head blonde.. 🤯 lol jk but fr! Unfortunately, most of my chemically treated clients mid shaft to ends are usually limp at the 6 month mark post color. Sometimes It’s not that the stylist did the application wrong, but it can be the upkeep. I don’t judge anyone because color treated hair needs serious hair care 24/7! . January 2023 her hair was breaking right at the line of demarcation of her color and virgin hair. (Basically only have 2-3 inches of healthy hair.) So this past year we had to grow out all that color while also trimming up. With this method, you may not see a lot of length growth in the first year, but you would notice a huge difference in the weight of your hair, easier manageability, the shine of the hair and also the fullness. Now that we’ve gotten all that color off, she wouldn’t need any more trims as long as she stay on top of her every three month dusting.
