Not a mom yet, hope to be someday, but kid bedrooms I would just let them choose, if there happens to be a fight, then I’d just put the older of the two fighting in the bigger room

I only have one sibling a brother so it used to be I got the bigger room bc I had a full bed and he had a twin. Then when he got a bigger bed it just so happened we wanted the opposite rooms
