Coming from Melbourne, the capital of good food and wine for Australia, we know rhe value of good service, great food and incredible atmosphere. We arrived in Kotor old town late at night and decided to give this restaurant a go. The service was good and the food was great. It was expensive but we enjoyed our first night here so we decided to come back for a second night. We had a totally different experience, Service was horrible, we weren’t offered any bread or water for the whole duration of our sitting. They served us hot wine. It took a very long time for food to come out and when it did finally come out, they had overcooked the steak. It was well done even though we had asked for medium rare. The octopus came with two tiny slithers for €30. It was an absolute rip-off. The waiter did not care. We informed Management and she didn’t really seem to care either. If you’re paying top dollar then you’d expect top service and premium quality. I would say this is the most over-rated restaurant in Kotor.
